ViperChill Re-Design and BIG Changes

Despite how long I’ve wanted to do something as radical as this, I’ve never been able to bring myself to accept such a big change. Partly for the fear of letting others down who have come to know this site for what it is and what it offers, and partly because this is a complete u-turn in what I’ve been offering and doing for the last 2 years.

What am I talking about? I’ve decided I no longer want to be focused on doing services, and want to continue my passion for blogging and helping others succeed on an information level, rather than client level.

Why the Change?

Just to re-iterate, this is not something that has happened overnight, about 12 months ago I started a separate blog to this and had a lot of success (and fun) doing it. I stopped blogging on it because I thought I was neglecting this site that I had built up, and like I say…I thought changing ViperChill into something similar would be too radical.

The more hard work and effort I’ve been putting into helping big companies succeed for little financial gain has not been as enjoyable as the journey of doing it for myself; something I take as a big lesson learned in my life. Of course, all the clients I am currently working with and the clients I work with at Shake are going to get my full services and efforts, it’s just not the direction I want to see ViperChill going for the rest of my life.

Running a company has a lot more financial potential in general, but if you aren’t loving what you are doing, and you still have to be a success to get anything back then what is the point? A lot of things have came together recently that helped me realise that life is just too short not to do the things you want to do.

What Now?

Well, i am here in South Africa for at least 8 months, when I go back to England in January I’ll be able to think about things a bit more and may return to SA; to be honest I need to think things through a lot more before making any decisions.

I’ve been blogging for 2 years now without any direct gain in blog advertising, it’s always been to promote the services that I offer and that is changing. This blog is obviously about the content but the focus of internet business is around helping others succeed online, and in that time I’m going to continue building and developing my own online properties and hopefully reach the levels of success I’ve been able to help others achieve.

Just to get everything clear and out in the open:

  • This doesn’t effect the eBook in anyway, in-fact it is a positive move and I plan on releasing more information products in the future
  • I will continue to offer the best information and advice possible on this site, and offer even more insight on building traffic and making money online

I don’t want to be tarnished with the ‘make money online blog’ brush but a lot of content is going to be focused in a similar direction. Basically SEO, Social Media & Reputation Management to help you succeed online and I will be using the exact tactics and networks I discuss to build my own ‘online empire’ at the same time.

Website Re-Design

If you are checking this out in a feed-reader or email service, come and see out the new look. It’s very simple and something I’ve created myself pretty much completely from scratch. I’m going to be doing a complete post on this so I’ll let the other information sink in first.

If you do see any issues with the site please let me know, I’m sure I’ve missed a few things and theres still quite a few more tweaks I want to make before everything is finished.

To Summarise

Please don’t think this is just a change till I get bored and want to move onto the next thing. The advice I’ve been offering in this blog, such as following your passion, has not been congruent with my own desires and I’m finally living up to that now.

I’m sorry to all the people who don’t like the change, but for those who enjoy the content here then you are going to be seeing a lot more of it.

Special Thanks: Maki, Lyndon, Kelvin and Hugo - I will be posting some of their advice in my next entry :)
