After months of work, hundreds of hours of testing and a keen attention to detail, affiliateSkin is now here. affiliateSkin is a creation which came about through my frustration with solutions on the market to build affiliate websites. As many of you know, I make my living with affiliate sites, and finally became fed-up with spending hours tweaking WordPress or manually uploading HTML files in order to get a result I was happy with.

The solution to my own problem, is affiliateSkin. They say the best products are those which help you in your own work, as they’re more likely to help thousands of other people. This software has enabled me to build great looking affiliate websites in minutes, and allowed me to focus on marketing and making money. The real place your time should be spent.

Phew! You guys sure do know how to ask tough questions. 4,000+ words later and I’ve hopefully answered all of the ones which will help as many people as possible. I wasn’t able to answer every single question; some because they were very technical and I didn’t know the answer, others because they were a little too specific and others because I was simply running out of time.

I’m sure that you’ll all find something in here to help you. I’m going to spend the rest of this week focusing on my “Skin” product launch and then you’ll see some pretty exciting things around here.

Since I made it through the World’s biggest bungee jump alive, I thought I would try to give back to you all in a way that is far more personal. Though I do receive a lot of emails and comments that are questions, I thought it would be a good idea to answer all of them in one place.

I gave my Facebook fans (become one here) the chance to ask their questions first to show that I appreciate their support, but now I’m opening the questions up to you all in the comments here. So, if there’s anything you’ve wanted to ask me (marketing, personal, or otherwise) then now is the time to do it.

As I promised to you all in the final monthly report, today I’m releasing an analysis of the growth of this blog over the last 12 months. Although ViperChill doesn’t turn one for another 10 days, I’m going on a road trip and have a product launch about to happen, so I wanted to get this out there for all of you.

I’ve always viewed my monthly reports not just as interesting updates (as I personally enjoy them) but also as part of an overall case study. If I’m teaching you how to build better websites, I want to share exactly what I do with my own and how they grow. I don’t think there is any better way to learn the ins and outs of marketing.

Well, I will be doing a report every six months or so, but this is the last one I’ll publish monthly. As of October 17th 2010, it will have officially been one year since I relaunched ViperChill. I should finish the year with just over 10,000 subscribers, which isn’t a small feat (any blogger will attest to that).

I’m going to write a post in a few days which looks over the year as a whole, but for now I want to concentrate on the traffic stats and other figures for September. Thanks to all of you who have helped the site become what it is in such a short time. I know I do all the writing, but you guys give me something worth writing for.

We’re getting close to the point where there will be no more monthly reports. I said from day one that I would do a case study of this sites’ traffic for one year, and that’s what I’ve done. This preliminary report is actually an exciting one: ViperChill received more traffic in August than any other month so far.

It’s never a good sign when a blogger disappears for weeks, “neglecting” their readers and doesn’t take the time to give a reason why. It’s also very common for bloggers who apologise for their infrequent posting to quickly find themselves at a stage where their blog does not get updated at all.

I’ll be the exception to that rule and apologise for my lack of updates over the last few weeks – stating that I’m genuinely back for good – and with a big announcement to make: As of the end of this month, I’ll be living in Thailand. Bangkok, to be specific. Despite that possibly surprising announcement, this post is not going to be very personal. Let’s talk business.
