Today I’m going to share with you an in-depth case study of two moms who are killing it online. Unlike case studies you’ll find elsewhere, this article contains not only their personal stories, but the exact strategies they use and actual income proof. I recently revealed on my Project Warehouse article that I was going to begin an “income case study” series, and this is the first entry.
The moms in question, Justine Grey and Heather Allard, both actually reached out to me after my last blog post. They both make thousands of dollars per month online, and interestingly have a number of similarities in their approach, so I thought they would make an excellent joint case study.
I’m going to first begin by giving you the back story on each of them, and then reveal how much money they’re making. Finally, we’ll uncover exactly how they’re making that money.
“Before I started The Mogul Mom, I invented two blankets as a solution to my second daughter’s sleep troubles. I took them from an idea in my head to store shelves in about two years and then my third child was born in 2006 and tipped the scales. My products were selling well and had been picked up by a big baby products catalog (One Step Ahead), but I just couldn’t do both anymore – raising three little kids (they were under the age of 6) AND running/growing a company.
So, I learned of a local baby products company that was going public (which signals expansion, usually) and I pitched them on buying my company. They initially offered me a licensing deal (which SUCKED!) and then a year later, I sold them my products for a six-figure sum (2008).
While I was running my baby products company and even after I sold it, I received countless emails from other moms who had invented products. They had questions, questions and more questions – so, I figured I’d start a site and a consulting program for them. The Mogul Mom was born.
My aim with The Mogul Mom is to provide content, e-courses and consulting to mom entrepreneurs to help them run a business, raise a family and rock both.”
The above picture shows the money Heather received in May 2011 for one affiliate product she promoted. She made over $10,000 in commissions. Note: The $250 payments are for people who paid for the product in monthly installments and will pay $1,000 overall.
“Create HYPE is a free weekly email blog (similar to what you discuss in CloudBlueprint) where I provide short bits of actionable content to entrepreneurs who want to promote their business effectively. I also use Create HYPE as the top of my “Product Pathway” and bring people who want to go further/higher/deeper into the mix at Justine Grey.
Justine Grey exists because I wanted a hub — somewhere that I could bring all my projects together and freely discuss them. I am really passionate about helping others learn how to build a thriving online business and in my opinion, the best way to do that is to create multiple income streams.
For me, I’ve never had a problem finding income sources online – from freelance writing to ad sales to info products to affiliate promotions – but it wasn’t until I realized the power of connecting them all that things started to happen. Building them on top of each other, optimizing them – and in some cases, getting rid of some – meant that my business began to thrive and my income started to soar.
I know anyone can do this and the reason I know that is because I’m only 25, have two young kids (4 months & 3 years) and I didn’t even graduate high school. Literally anyone can do something meaningful online if they figure out what they want to accomplish, are willing to be a sponge and learn everything imaginable and most importantly, take f*cking action.”
Though Justine makes most of her money from a process I’m about to go into, she also makes money from freelance jobs, and as a community manager for a Canadian company as well as writing for a few online websites.
These Mom’s are not only making a killing because they know what they’re talking about and are passionate about their subjects, but also because they’re following a proven model to making money online. In fact, as Justine said above, their whole strategy is a great example of the CloudBlueprint (free course) model in action.
Though they both have links to their blog articles on their homepage, the main element of their designs is focused on collecting email addresses. As I’ve said a few times on this blog, email subscribers are without a doubt the most engaged and most profitable audience type you can build. Heather and Justine are obviously aware of this, as their income figures show.
Below is a screenshot of their sites side by side, clearly showing the focus on collecting emails:
This type of page is most commonly known as a Squeeze page. I covered how to make them in this video.
The best way to collect email addresses is to give people a great offer they just have to sign-up for. Heather promotes her email list for those who want to “live & work happier, healthier, smarter & wealthier”. Justine offers free marketing training and videos in return for people giving away their email address.
Then, they’ll both continually send their subscribers as much valuable content as they can, to truly help them in their respective industries. This free content is not only appreciated by the subscriber, but it also gives them the perception that Justine and Heather are experts – which they are – at what they do.
With just some random browsing on The Mogul Mom I was able to find this great feedback on the emails that Heather sends:
Every so often – around once or twice per month – they’ll then promote products to their “list” (list of email subscribers). These can be things that they’ve created themselves or products other people have created, in return for a percentage of the sale price.
The whole process is a great case study of the CloudBlueprint model, and really shows that you can write about the things that you love and get paid to do it. The benefit of them using this strategy over any other is that new subscribers can see all of the valuable content they have to give away (unlike with blogging). You can even automate this method and send subscribers months of emails, on autopilot.
For those of you who prefer ideas in graphic form, the image I’ve made below should help clarify the process they’re following:
If you do have any questions about this, please ask them in the comments below or on the relevant CloudBlueprint video. I’m more than happy to answer them. You can apply the tactics Heather and Justine use in any industry!
Now that we’ve looked at their actual income proof and shared the model they’re both following, it’s time to get into the specifics…
Though I believe they are both following a strategy which is fairly similar to the course above, these women obviously have their own way of doing things that’s working for them. I asked them to get into the specifics of what is working for them, and they didn’t hold back.
When did you start the websites?
Justine: “These particular sites are fairly new. Create HYPE was launched in November 2010 and Justine Grey was launched just this month. My audience has, however, been built up and moved with me since January 2010.”
Heather: “I registered The Mogul Mom domain name in Sept 2007 but didn’t write much on it until 2008. I really got going in 2009. The site has grown the most over the past 12 months though.”
How often do you send emails to your subscribers?
Heather: “I typically send out emails 3 times per week and try to only send a promo email once or twice per month. If I do more than that, I get lots of unsubscribes.”
Justine: “I typically send out emails 1-3x per week, usually twice.”
Can you be ridiculously transparent and show ViperChill readers an example email you would send out?
Justine: “Of course!”
Heather: “No problem…”
What kind of money are you making?
Heather: “Over the past 4 years, I’ve tried every business model possible – consulting, advertising sales, affiliate sales, member groups, info products and even working as a publicist for a small group of mom entrepreneurs who were trying to get their products into the media. Last year, I earned $53,000 from the combination of these things. From the comfort of my own home.
Two affiliate products I promoted recently have made me over $13,000.”
Justine: “My income from December to March was less as I was on maternity leave (severe bed rest and then my baby came in February). My income averages to around $4,200 per month with the inclusion of my poor months during maternity leave or about $5,500 without.”
What are you sending to your list to make money?
Justine: “Once in a while, I’ll promote an affiliate product or launch my own info products and courses. I also use Create HYPE as the top of my Product Pathway and bring people who want to go further/higher/deeper into the mix at Justine Grey.”
Heather: “To date, I’ve had the most success (earned the most money) with creating and selling information products that myself and others have created. Today, I earn my income via info product sales (I’m currently working on some new ones), affiliate product promotions and limited private consulting.”
How are you growing your audience?
Heather: “Over the past year, I have grown my subscriber base from 1,000 to almost 4,000 by guest posting on sites like ProBlogger, Etsy, DailyWorth, Simple Mom and American Express OPEN Forum. TheMogulMom averages 15,000 monthly visits, 30,000 monthly pageviews and is ranked 78,000 Worldwide/20,000 US on Alexa.com.
It’s estimated that there are 5 million mom-owned businesses in the US, so I still have room for BIG growth.”
Justine: “My biggest source of traffic for new subs is definitely from guest posting. I’ve been doing this part time since I started so leveraging other audience’s has really helped me. I’d say about 70% of my list has come from 4-5 guest posts that sent hundreds (and in one case, thousands) of subscribers the day the post went live.”
I remember when I was first starting out with internet marketing that case studies like this are something that I just couldn’t get enough of. Not only did I learn from them, but they really showed me what is possible online and inspired me to work harder.
I would love to do more case studies like this – in different industries – but that depends on whether you want to read them. Covering topics like this introduces a slightly new angle to ViperChill so I would really appreciate your feedback on what you think of this type of content. After all, it’s you that I write for…
Massive thanks to both Heather and Justine for taking part. They answered my questions quickly and were more than open to share as much as they could with you guys which I really appreciated.
Definitely check out their websites after you’ve read the post 🙂
P.S. And happy birthday today, Heather!
My pleasure, Glen…thanks to YOU for the great opportunity to share my story and help others.
Thanks for the birthday wishes! 🙂
Heather
Agreed! Thanks so much to Heather and Justine for being willing to be open and share so much. Very inspiring stories to read, and I wish you both continued success with your businesses 🙂
great post Glen 😉 and thanks to the two moms Heather and Justin for sharing their story, great lessons to learn. Thanks again 🙂
What a great case study, I’d love to be included in your next one as I am starting a new blog simply to teach and train other newbie’s what to do and what not to do. Again much thanks for writing this and interviewing these two amazing women … LOVED THEIR QUOTES TOO!!!
Thanks Glen for putting this article up. Very informative and inspiring indeed. And thanks to the mums for their sharing. I agree with Heather that guest posting helps to boost the audience numbers. I’m working on it now and could feel how powerful guest blogging is.
You’re welcome CHC,
Glad you liked it 🙂
Case studies like these not only inspire newbies like me but also give a clear cut path on how to implement the CloudBlueprint strategy…..
First of all thanks to Glen for this wonderful post(looking forward for more case studies) and thanks to both Heather and Justine for sharing this valuable info!!
And can we know some more details like the auto-responder they use, time taken to implement the whole strategy and traffic strategies implemented etc … i think knowing these might be very useful
I’m sure they’ll come and check out the comments.
Heather is using MailChimp. I’m not sure about Justine…
Hey guys, I’m also using Mail Chimp but am thisclose to switching to Aweber.
Hey Justine,
Thanks for replying. What’s your reason for the switch?
Well, I use Mailchimp and it’s not bad but I definitely understand that you want to change to Aweber. The only con is that changing from one to the other might mean losing subscribers. Have you thought about it?
Cristina
Speaking of tools: if you don’t mind me asking Justine, how did you get the design done for your squeeze page?
I’m ready to launch one myself, and I’ve found a great template to work from (large email box, clean layout) but it definitely needs to pop like yours and Heathers.
Do you outsource? If so, what sites would you recommend for designers?
Glen feel free to weigh on this too, I know you design a lot of your sites yourself, I’m Photoshop inept, but willing to find someone who isn’t! =)
@Christina
You’ll be able to migrate from Chimp to Aweber without loosing the clients.. talked with Aweber about it and you won’t need a double confirm again… they have a specific things and policy about that but it’s possible..
Hrvoje
Hey Greg,
I had The Mogul Mom redesigned last spring by the fab Men With Pens. 🙂 They’re awesome and worth every penny.
Hope this helps!
Heather
hi greg… i used elance and have a great recommendation if you want to send me an email. i didn’t really want to spend a lot because i change my mind alot and so knew there was a chance i’d want to dismantle the blog area (which i did LOL) etc.
Thanks Heather and Justine for the feedback, a great design is definitely key for getting people to remember your brand.
@ Heather: I’ve see their work and they do a great job! I’ve also been looking at some other designers I’m familiar with.
@ Justine: Thanks, I’d definitely be willing to shoot you an email, I’ve familiar with eLance but I’ve never actually used it yet.
hey glen… the reason for the switch to aweber is because sometimes mailchimp can be buggy especially when formatting articles and because i don’t like how they upgraded their free package to 2000 subscribers for free but never adjusted the amount paying customers get…
it just doesn’t make sense and i even sent them an email with a link to that commercial with the little kid who wants ice cream and the guy is like ‘sorry that’s just for new people’ and so then this other kid comes in and gets some… so then the first kid is like ‘well i’m new too’ and ice cream dude is like, “well he’s newer than you”. LOL I don’t think new people should be treated better… aweber keeps it fair.
christina, when you switch to aweber they have import specialists that will waive the opt-in twice thing depending on a series of questions. so you can if you need to.
While I love Aweber (4yr customer) don’t count on making nice looking HTML emails unless you want to code them yourself outside of Aweber and then copy/paste your code in.
Their HTML article formatter thingamajig sucks!
Everything else rocks… But they are not great at beautiful looking emails.
I’ve coded up a template for myself and have it super commented out so it’s easy for me to update now. It’s a few extra steps that I wish I could do without.
Glen, thanks for this case study and big thanks to the two Moms. What an inspiration they are to us all!
Oh and after speaking with them, it seems they both rely on guest posting for their traffic source. I did include this in the post 🙂
yeah just gave a second read!! I believe the traffic strategies you explained in the CloudBlueprint are more than enough to implement this strategy….
You are really making internet a better place by providing quality info and a genuine attitude to help others,Now onwards i pledge to send every IM newbie to Viperchill !!
Would love to read more case studies!!
Thanks for the kind words, Kustiin.
Noted!
This is very informative. Well, you’re always like that! You should teach blogging at a University. Thanks for this one Glen. I got some ideas jotted down. Thanks to Heather and Justine too.
Glad you could take notes, Kwame.
Hah, I did have the opportunity to teach “making money online” in the USA at a university but I turned it down. Not for me just yet 😉
Great post, very inspiring! By now most should know that the money is in the list, get building people! 🙂
Indeed 🙂
Glad you liked it Vinay!
Excellent article Glen, as usual. Love this awesome case study.
Thanks Glen for putting it together for us.
You’re welcome Devesh!
It has been a while 🙂
Yup, got busy with some new projects & niche sites.
Have a great weekend, buddy.
Hey Glen,
Quite interesting case study. Although it’s still the “make money online” niche, don’t you think?
Cheers
Kuba
Final paragraph:
“I would love to do more case studies like this – in different industries – but that depends on whether you want to read them.”
They don’t actually just make money from talking about making money. As mentioned, Justine makes a lot of money from freelance writing and Heather created a very successful baby product line where she made money.
That being said, I will definitely be covering different industries in these case studies. But, I need feedback (from people like you), about whether you want them.
Great case studies Glen,
Thanks to Heather and Justine for providing the info. Would love to read case studies for other industries, in particular the craft and/or DIY markets. Thanks again for the info and keep up the good work..
Sue.
hey Kuba,
I don’t consider myself in the make money online niche exclusively since my audience is creative entrepreneurs who want to grow sustainable businesses from selling physical products.
Although I talk a lot about income streams, it’s really just the perfect term to showcase what I do online but as time goes on with my brand, I’ll be exploring a lot more than money such as health, finding more time, productivity and enjoying life. My readers are very interested in self-improvement as well.
Thank you for reply Glen, and thank you Justine 🙂
Glen: It’s great that you give so much information to your readers! I will always support you, because your blog provides so much motivation for people, including me. I started reading your blog about month ago and I’m pretty amazed that dude, who is a year older than me earns six figures online! Respect man 🙂 I have a lot to learn from you.
Justine: Your story is really inspiring! In fact, my previous comment was too generalized.
You know, my whole society is focused on “career” thing. When I read about You and Heather, I was sitting in the classroom and listening to a lecture of artificial intelligence (I’m studying computer engineering). It’s amazing that you actually do what you love and probably earn more money than my lecturer 😉 Wish you all the best!
Again, thank you so much for the rapid answers
haha thanks Kuba.
Hey Kuba,
Glad you enjoyed the case study. I don’t make money in the make money online niche – mine is much more from the “help people build/grow their business” niche. 🙂
I help people bring products to market, start blogs, build a service business, get publicity, get their product line in stores…all while raising a family. No easy feat. LOL.
Cheers!
Heather
Really awesome and practical case study Glen and this people really know what they’re saying!
It’s so cool to see the CloudBlueprint strategy in action and how effective it is. I have started implementing it for my mailing list to promote a consulting service I’m about to start and I’d let you know how everything goes as soon as it launches.
This case study has also encouraged me to start guest blogging massively again, only that this time, I will be directing most of my traffic to my squeeze page.
Thanks so much and have a great day,
-Onibalusi
Sweet, do let me know.
If it doesn’t get picked up, just send me an email and I’ll tell you where you’re going wrong 🙂
You too Oni!
Sure Glen, I’ll definitely do that 🙂
BTW This case study is really awesome, motivating and spirit lifting. I definitely would love more of them 🙂
Noted!
Thanks Oni 🙂
Glen,
I love case studies, particularly those as informative as this post. They provide inspiration and the knowledge that we can achieve amazing things too
Also, on my brand new blog the profile/interview/case study I posted has had the best results.
I hope your readers enjoy case studies as much as I do. I look forward to reading more.
Cheers, Caylie
Hey Caylie,
Thanks for the feedback. I know they do generally “go down well” with readers, but it’s pretty new to ViperChill, so it’s always good to ask 😉
Appreciate the comment!
I loved the case studies – very inspiring. I would like to read more from the non-MMO niche, if possible.
Thanks Glen 🙂
Glad you liked it Isobel,
Happy to provide more!
Thanks for the comment 🙂
Hey Glen,
Definitely this case studies are very inspiring and useful. Once again we can see how powerful guest posting is to direct targetted traffic to your blog.
Looking forward to reading more case studies,
Cristina
Thanks Cristina,
Much appreciated.
Great article, thanks Glen
You’re welcome Haroun!
love the case studies – keep em coming, thanks for the great insights
Thanks for the comment Greg.
I’ll see what I can do 😉
Hey Glen,
Great effort here and an incredibly interesting case study. We have to always keep in mind that nothing will happen, unless we take some action.
Cheers!
Great point Mancho,
Thanks for the comment!
Hey Glen,
The case studies are highly informative and very useful. You should definitely keep them coming. And once again, your content is not only inspiring, but very actionable. Thanks for all the help.
Cheers,
Hey Ron,
I’m glad you think so.
You’re very welcome!
Well, I have some problem about money, Now I owe a large sum of money, but if the income from my salary at work is indeed never afford it, I’m really excited by making money online, but I have not should know where to start. From the story of two mothers and Kidt Jenaa, I’d love to know HowI can do it, you can give me a hint?
Hey Trung,
Read the full post above. You’ll get a good idea.
Hey Glen,
Thanks for remind me, I will do it.
Sorry, I want to say about ustine Grey and Heather Allard,
Great article guys. I get really inspired reading case studies so I would really appreciate it if you posted more Glen.
Thanks Brendan,
It seems like they’re popular!
Hi Glen,
Another awesome post!
I really like the case studies, so please continue those 🙂
There may be some interesting readers with money making cases?
Afterall you have a widely reach of readers and I know some of them are already making nice amounts of money. Maybe an interview with them?
Personally I’d like to know a little more about your dutch homey Dick de Bruin, since I am from the Netherlands as well..
Anyway: keep it going!
Love to visit you one day somewhere in the world 😉
Greetz from Holland.
Hah, he’s in the next room so I’ll tell him you said that!
If any readers think they have a story like this to share, do get in touch with me!
I’ll be in Holland next month 🙂
Glen,
Thanks for writing and publishing this article.
Heather and Justine,
Thank you very much for your willingness to share with the rest of us. You two are an inspiration!
-Richard
Thanks, Richard! I’m so glad you enjoyed the case study. 🙂
Heather
Thank you Richard!
Thanks Richard, so glad you liked our stories 🙂
Their squeeze pages are simply beautiful; I almost signed up. Alas, it’s exciting to see that there are motivated moms doing the best they can for their kids. They’re providing genuine value to people, and I think that goes beyond making money (although the income is nice). I’d love to see more case studies!
They look great, I agree.
Thanks Alexis 🙂
I seriously need to pull my finger out if I want to reach the next level….
Thanks Glen for the great inspiration article.
You’re welcome Ralph,
I appreciate your support as always!
Keep the case studies coming. Loving it !
Probably, someday I ll make it there too. I work on a model very different to the cloud blue print model but I am planning to integrate both of them together to reap the best of both the ends.
I will be hitting 3k this month. I hope I can continue with my 10% revenue growth month on month.
$3K? That’s great. Congrats!
Thanks for the continued comments 🙂
3K is awesome!!
$3K is totally awesome! Well done. 🙂
Glen –
Thanks for another excellent post, and double thanks for all the free info. I’ve been reading through all your advice, and bought in to the CloudBlogging course, which I am working my way through.
Thanks to Justine and Heather too – I just signed up on your sites!
I am a product designer and have an online pet products business (Hepper), and have been trying to figure out the best way to use your advice that is slightly more info-product based (rather than physical product). Justine and Heather’s sites are helping it all the gel for me, and some actionable plans are in the works.
I’ve learned everything about bringing a product to market from scratch and now the online marketing component is coming together too. I think I see my next venture…an info-product based on my design experiences!
Thanks again to all of you!
Hey Jed,
I think that’s a great idea – creating an info-product based on your design experiences.
That’s how I got started on The Mogul Mom – consulting with other moms about bringing a product to market. I also created two info products based on a product based business – Get Retail Ready (to get your product in stores) and Get Famous (to get your product in the media) and they’ve done very well.
Wishing you much success!!
Heather
I agree with Heather, doing something virtual is a great way to leverage your time and share your experiences with others. Best of luck with your business!
Would have liked to have read more details. Questions like:
-How much hours a day do you spend on your websites?
-Is it a 1 person journey, or do you have employees/ VA’s ?
-Do you have any competitors in your niche? If so, how do you stand out?
-What are your favorite internettools?
-If you could start over, what would you NOT do?
Justine, Heather……..any thoughts?
Remco
Hey Remco,
Those are great questions. Here are my answers: 🙂
– I work about 2 hours per day on my site. Sometimes more, sometimes less because I have 3 kids and all hell can break loose at any time. 😉
-So far, mine is a one person journey. I’d really like to hire a PT VA but haven’t found the right one yet. I did hire 12 contributors this year and that has helped a TON as far as content goes. After 4 years of blogging, I sometimes feel tapped for fresh content. LOL.
– There are a few “mom entrepreneur” sites around the web but none of them operate in the same way that I do. Also, as far as I know, I’m the only mom who’s had the unique experience of having a service business (copywriting), a product business (my baby blankets) and a blog.
– I just wrote a post on this very thing. You’ll find it on my homepage titled “Tools of the Trade”. 🙂
– If I could start over, I would NOT tout The Mogul Mom as a “blog”. I’d be clearer up front that TheMogulMom.com is a *business*, not just a blog that gives away free content and I would NOT be so afraid to talk about money, how I’m making it and how they can make it.
Hope that helps!
Heather
thanks Heather!
that really makes the picture more complete for me…. I know hell can break loose with even 2 kids, so I can only imagine with 3…. 😉
I’ll now surf over to your Tools of the Trade post.
Remco
LOL. 🙂
Great Heather!
That’s a very clear and honest reply. I’m just curious, why is it that you would keep clear that TheMogulMom.com is a *business*, not just a blog? do people who read your blog expect more stuff to be free?
Hey Cristina,
When I first started, I gave away a ton of free content (still do) and I guess I conditioned people to think it would always be that way. When I started offering paid consulting/info products, some of my readers were surprised/turned off.
Oh well…can’t please everyone! 🙂
Heather
Hello Heather
I write about tech that helps small business grow. I would like to invite you to be a guest blogger on my site and I will return the favor as well. You can find my contact info on my site.
Deepak
Hey Remco, great questions!
-How much hours a day do you spend on your websites?
Right now I only spend about 3 hours a day working on all of my stuff (sites + freelance gigs) and try to keep it to 5-6 days a week. For my websites, right now, maybe 1 hour a day total. With kids in the picture, it’s not a set chunk, usually like a few minutes here, an hour there type of thing.
However, as my youngest grows (She’s now 4 months) and gets into a proper routine, I do plan to increase my focus on JustineGrey.com and that means hopefully getting up to 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. I enjoy my work a lot and know the more you put in, the more it can grow.
-Is it a 1 person journey, or do you have employees/ VA’s ?
—> I have an assistant who does a big part of the freelance community management position simply because the company didn’t have a huge budget for my hourly rate and because I want the free time to work on my personal projects most… but I do 99% of the work for my personal stuff like Create HYPE & Justine Grey + the other freelance stuff.
–> I hope to add a couple of VA hours a week for my own brand just to do things I get bored with like formatting, finding pictures etc., but that’ll be in a few months from now as I don’t have time to train.
-Do you have any competitors in your niche? If so, how do you stand out?
–> Yep, there are always competitors, although I don’t see them as this… either I can try to JV/work with them someway, promote their stuff in return for them promoting my stuff or I just forget them and do my own thing. I know people would normally say it’s better to read all your competitors stuff and share your own opinions on what they talk about to set yourself apart but I prefer to never read their content and just think of my own things… and go outside my niche to get ideas to blow away my audience.
-What are your favorite internet tools?
I’m going to publish my “freedom toolbox” page later today with everything I personally use, this keeps getting asked of me… warning it’s a book as I use a bunch of necessary stuff.
-If you could start over, what would you NOT do?
Well, I think all mistakes made are great learning experiences…. my biggest regret is wasting time at certain points in my business (namely when I was pregnant last year) because now that I’m SO strapped for time, I wish I coulda had that back to be 10 steps ahead of where I am now.
Hope that’s helpful to you 🙂
Justine
Awesome Justine…..thanks a lot !!
thanks Glen for the info and the video link. Great video – in plain English – loved it. I enjoyed seeing just how to create a squeeze page and will have a go.
A query though – I already have a website, where does the squeeze page ‘fit in’.
Sorry just a bit confused as to how the page goes together – it’s called a 1 page website I see on the video but it says to use your domain name (presumably of your existing site?)
Is it meant to be the home page? or part of the home page? or do you use some other address of the original domain and promote that (eg http://www.datingsymbol.com/datingtips instead of the normal home page address of http://www.datingsymbol.com ? ) And then if you do promote the squeeze page rather than the ‘home page’, how do you get people to see the rest of your site if they don’t want to give their email address for the squeeze page?
OR – is it meant to be a totally different domain name and the idea is to just get people to subscribe and then you market to them to visit the rest of your (other domain name ) site, your other offers, etc?
thanks again Jan
Hey Jan,
I’m sure Glen has some more wisdom but a squeeze page can be wherever you want and where it feels best for you.
Since Create HYPE is an email only and I’m not big on the blog part of it, a squeeze page only for the site works well. But if you’re blogging regularly, you could easily just do a squeeze page as an extension like you mentioned /datingtips or go further and register a domain name that’s for the squeeze page and then have the only other link on the squeeze page be “go back to DatingSymbol.com” etc…
again, it’s a matter of preference and also the mission of the site. Do you only want to do the dating tips newsletter and skip the blog? If so, a squeeze page home page would likely be good.
Thanks Glen, Justine and Heather
Love case studies so please keep them coming.
I too would have been interested in finding more details similar to what @Remco suggested in a comment above. Who doesn’t love your long posts anyway Glen 🙂
I too am a mom working and building on my niche that I passionately love. Case studies give you straightforward ideas and models that work so in my book they rock!
Thanks again, Elina
Hey Elina,
You can find Heather’s reply to those questions two comments above yours 🙂
Thanks for the feedback!
Hey Glen,
Thanks for these case studies. It’s great to see Heather and Justine killing it online. Also they are adding a lot of value to their audience and making the internet a better place so it is win-win.
I’d definitely like to see more case studies on ViperChill. It would be really cool if you could get some students from your courses to share their stories as well. I’m in one of them so I’d love to hear how its working out for others.
-Tanvir
Thanks for your kind words Tanvir!
Thanks, Tanvir! 🙂

Thanks for the comment 🙂
Thanks, Glen. Great post and definitely worth doing some more of! I find these even more inspiring than just your posts alone, as they are actually showing OTHER people are using the system and saying it works. Keep them up!
Thanks Tylor,
I’ll do what I can!
Hi Glen,
Thank you for providing this great case study. Reading about success stories is always a great motivator.
Since watching your videos and reading this post, I have written 5 pages for my ebook book and I have compiled a list of email post titles.
Lots of work to do but it is a very exciting process.
Keep on rocking 🙂
Awesome!
Great to hear about people taking action 🙂
Sweet! I love the take action types! 🙂
I once received a fortune in a fortune cookie that read:
Many a false step is made by standing still.
I taped that fortune to my computer screen and live by it. Every day, I take action – it might be a baby step or a big ol’ leap of faith – towards my goals.
Cheers!
Yes, I would like to see more case studies. Different kind of similar sites that have things in common can tell us a lot more about their secrets.
Thanks for the feedback 🙂
I love this!!
Being a new mom myself, I am totally reinspired today to not only complete my ebook sooner, but to begin formulating my newsletter autoresponder series.
Do both of you utilize the autoresponder (I’m assuming!) and how many emails did you write to begin with? Did you write a few up-front, or just as you went?
Thx!
Andrea
Hey Andrea,
I don’t use autoresponders at all actually. That’s what I LOVE about being an online entrepreneur, there’s always something on my to do list to try & test to see improve my brand and income…. I was listening to a podcast today from Copyblogger with Sonia Simone and she mentioned using them and I thought “soon”.
With Create HYPE, it’s a new email every week on a marketing topic and so when someone joins they don’t get the archives or past posts, just the current ones and on. The reason for this is because I write a little intro before I give out the tip and so if it was on an autoresponder, they wouldn’t get a little bit of ‘me’ in the email… and that helps me connect with them best. I also promote time sensitive things within the email on occasion so again, an autoresponder wouldn’t work in my case.
As for how I roll, I actually do emails as I go but will be spending the next few weeks getting about a month ahead of schedule so all I need to do is add my intro and send them off…. I think having them done in advance will make me more zen and if I want to take an extra day off here and there during the summer, I can.
Hope that helps, best of luck with your ebook!
Justine
P.S. Signed up for your updates, good grief my 3 year old needs some potty training help 🙂
Hey Andrea,
Yeah, like Justine, I don’t use autoresponders either – though I have thought about it. 🙂
As far as blog posts go, I pretty much write them as a I think of them. Also, I have 12 contributors and I rotate their posts – so, every week, I write one post, one of them writes one post and then on Fridays, I publish “weekend reading” – suggested reading from around the web. It makes my life MUCH easier.
I’ve started every one of my businesses shortly after having a baby…my mom says I’m crazy! LOL.
WIshing you MUCH success!
Heather
Its a superb Case study i was read in my online marketing life :O
Important info for all for building email list…
I am thinking to change my blog header to Squeeze header…:)
Thanks a lot
Shajjad
😉
You’re welcome!
Hey Glen,
I’m only a 101 comments late 😉 I love case studies like this because I end up with strategies that may resonate with me. I’m personally working on guest posts for bigger audiences so knowing these two successful mom entrepreneurs have used guest blogging as a means to increase their own e-mail list is awesome.
Two thumbs up and bring more case studies!
Typical Moon 😉
On it like the Stereophonics
Hi Glen
I think case studies are definitely the way to go. It gives real world examples that people appreciate. In the two examples you also presented some of the challenges that can affect someone (ex; health issues and bed rest) in business. That little point adds legitimacy in my opinion.
I take my hat of to both women for being honest and willing to share. Ideally the businesses they are in are perfect for everyone but even better for single moms or moms with kids at home.
A few years ago I developed a concept called Project E-Growth. It was designed to help people generate income online that could help them make a vehcile payment or help them pay their medical payments. It was never designed to make ALOT of money but to get people started. You are providing the same concepts and that is very valuable.
I think having case studies every now and then is great. If you look at Tim Ferris’s blog, he includes a bunch on a regular basis. And it gives many confidence. The partnership he did with Shopify really generated alot of interest in HOW people do it.
Great post and good luck! You are definitely going the riht direction in my books!
Gordon
Really great case studies. Really interesting to me even though the moms don’t operate in my niche – the general “rules” of what works are still the same. The most interesting point for me was that both of them see huge increase in subs after writing guest posts. I think with guest posts you should really pick the biggest blog you can get on, for example, ProBlogger, because the visitor numbers are so high lots of people will follow you. Of course, it helps if you write a really good post!
Thanks Rob,
Indeed 🙂
I’m a fan of writing for less than obvious sites as well, as there users are usually more curious about the site of a guest poster.
That’s an interesting point, Glen. I’ve never seen great results from guest posting so I need to concentrate more on it. Thanks.
hey rob, i’ve done some guest posts that equaled barely any subscribers too so it can be hit or miss. Even a HUGE blog I did it twice in a row and the second time I really didn’t see much traffic so I think it’s about a) the post topic itself and b) luck 🙂
Rob,
I’ve guest posted for ProBlogger and it didn’t equate to many new subscribers. It was a nice addition to my press page though.
I think getting many new subscribers from guest posting comes down to writing for an audience that is similar enough to your own, writing a really useful post and *asking* for the subscribe.
I didn’t do that with my ProBlogger post but when I wrote for etsy, I finished off the post by saying, “If you enjoyed this post and want to learn more about marketing, subscribe to my free email for mom entrepreneurs.” BAM – 1,000 new subscribers.
Hope that helps!
Heather
Thanks for your help and advice on guest posting, Justine and Heather, it amazing when you ask people to do things that more of them do! And, great article Glen, Justine and Heather! Thanks.
Hi Glen . Love this post and viperchill in general I have learned so much over the weeks I ve been receiving your mail.I will be recommending your site to our Sligo Business Network tomorrow night and encouraging them to read the 10k subs blog I found it amazing and so easy to read and implement . That being said I write my blog as a hobby and time is limited so I have outsourced to Odesk to handle the tech side ,some of your previous comments asked about outsourcing and it is not easy to get all your ducks in a row ! I find them pretty good !
Hopefully I ll get my blog to the same level as The “MOMS” in this post ! I d be ectastic ! and it would be all thanks to viperchill
Another fan
Susan
Thanks Susan,
I really appreciate your support and (excited!) feedback 🙂
Great work on putting this together, Glen. You continue delivering the goods. Just like others, I would enjoy seeing further examples of success from different industries.
Ladies, keep up the great results. You two each seem very deserving.
Larry
Thank you Larry!

Hi Glen,
I like this case study. The other thing I notice about successful internet marketers is that they often have created and sell their own products in addition to their affiliate sales. Too often, I see online sites promoting affiliate sales as the holy grail to online income. I think that is one good way of earning income, but creating and selling your own product is even better than affiliate sales if one has the creativity, experience and ability to do so.
Good point!
Thanks for the comment Richard 🙂
Great post as always Glen, just a couple questions.
If both these sites are focusing on email marketing, what’s the purpose of having normal blog posts on the site?
Are the blog posts also part of the content delivered via email?
Thanks in advance, great reading stories of other people having success, keep up the case studies.
Hey Dante,
I did have a blog on the site (createhype) but removed the links and will likely dismantle that aspect of it. The advantage is for SEO and giving new potential subscribers a taste of what they’ll get in the email but on that note, some won’t subscribe if they know they can get it on the blog anyway.
the other thing is for advertising… if the site eventually makes great traffic (which isn’t something I concentrate on but heather’s traffic is good) you can get advertisers for the site as well.
Hey Dante,
I really only started focusing on the email marketing about a year ago – until then, I just used Feedburner to deliver my blog posts to email/RSS readers.
Now, my blog posts are delivered by email and RSS, but the “special” emails only go out to my email list.
Also, I usually write a little intro to the blog posts sent out by email and just gives it a more personal touch. 🙂
Hope this helps!
Heather
I really need to see case studies about other industries. I mean industries not related to business advice, money making, enterpreneurship consulting and so on.
It would also be awesome if people not living in the USA were interviewed, especially people living in the EU and not having English as their primary language.
http://www.viperchill.com/buying-selling-websites/
About guest posting @Justine (we can only go to 4 levels of nested comments so I’m making a new one).
I agree sometimes the traffic doesn’t come from guest posts even from popular blogs. I guess, as you say, this maybe because your post topic is not engaging with their audience. But I suppose at least you’re getting a good link and further awareness for your brand.
Hi everyone, first time replying to one of your blogs Glen and wanted to say a big thanks for your efforts. As I’m just getting started with blogging ViperChill is proving to be a great inspiration.
What I liked about this post (and ViperChill generally) is that the great examples shown aren’t just languishing in that really spammy, digital product world – over-promising and under-delivering and generally just completely unsustainable. These examples appear to have great crossover with more mainstream business, in particular the consulting side of things and certainly the presentation on their websites looks as good as any ‘mainstream’ company.
Wanted to ask Justine and Heather whether avoiding positioning themselves at the cheaper end of the market was a conscious decision when starting out?
My personal view is that quality content, personailty and a great mainstream approach seems to generate much more trust from readers. Once again, good work everyone!
Hey Paul,
No, positioning TMM at the cheaper end of the market wasn’t a conscious decision. LOL.
Really, my prices vary depending on what I’m offering. My private consulting is $250/hour, my info products around $40 and my “group” stuff has been priced at several rates depending on what it included. My membership group was $37/month whereas my PR service was $1500 for 6 months.
Glad you enjoyed the post!!
Heather
Well, firstly a great post! The only thing I would like to add is that people plan an amount of resilience into there buisnes model. I was doing great on a sea fishing site I own, then a month ago the affiliate site went under and I am really struggling to replace it! I forgot to look at the bigger picture!!!!!! 🙁
Would LOVE a tutorial or resource on creating a “SQUEEZE HEADER”.
It’s genius and is a great middle ground between 100% squeeze page and a normal blog design.
Would make a big difference for me. 🙂
Glenn – I like the case studies but like others said not in the “make money online” industry. I am eager to try the CloudBlueprint model for my next info product so I am eating up as much info as I can. I would like to see even more details about how they build their audience, conversion results for products they promote, differences in promoting a physical product vs an info product, etc
Thanks!
Debbie
Glen, Heather and Justine – AWESOME! Thanks so much for sharing your inspiring stories. We need more of this 🙂 I love that you’re both mums and you’re both doing such a wonderful job of creating your own business while giving to your family.
I have a 21 month old and am about to have baby #2 in early July. My head is buzzing with ideas! I already have BiddyTarot which makes a wonderful side income but I am currently developing more ideas on passive sources of income. Reading case studies like yours gets me inspired to take ACTION! I just hope I have a good, sleeping baby and can find those extra hours in the day!
Glen – good work on including these case studies… this is where the real value-add is.
Wishing you MUCH success, Brigit! (And congratulations on your growing business AND family!)
Heather
Thanks Glen for putting this post together and Heather and Justine for sharing their success.
I definitely enjoy reading and learning from real life experiences. Continue posting these inspirational articles Glen.
Glen – ” Awesome article”
I do like to read your case studies. I will share this articles to my wife, may be she become interest with online biz. Those 2 successful women, Heather & Justine who already interviewed can be good reference for her to do like them.
🙂
Thanks Glen
Really inspiring article! I also would be definitly interested in case studies outside the making money online niche.
I am looking forward to the next post !!!!
As a newb I also can’t get enough case studies so more would be awesome. I like the way you simplify things, and having two together was a cool idea.
In the article you mention that both sites focus on the squeeze rather than the blog, but the image shows Traffic > Blog > Squeeze > Emails so I’m wondering if the Blog in the image should be off to the side or something. This has always been a point of confusion for me: the Blog and the Squeeze and how they work together.
Great post…!
Thanks for sharing…and BRAVO !!! to the ladies ! I’m curious as to whether you can add a squeeze page after launching a site ? I don’ t believe I’m gathering a list as I should.
Hey Steve, Create HYPE always had the squeeze page as the main above the fold area although it did get a makeover a couple months ago. The blog was below the fold for both the old and new look but recently I decided not to use one anymore since I can filter traffic to my personal brand (justinegrey.com).
Nice to see a real case study and not some questionable made up claims of thousands made per month from lesser known blogs. Great post.
Glen,
List building for products sale or affiliate marketing is definitely an online strategy that works…thanks for sharing this inspiring story ..
Congrats to both of you ladies! Heather, I have to ask, who did the cartoon graphics on your site? I’m looking for a good cartoonist with similar skills!
Thanks for such an awesome interview, Glen!
I’ll mention to Heather that you left a comment but I believe it may be graphics from a site like shutterstock etc.
Hey Glen,
This is a totally inspiring article and just what I needed to read. Simple strategies that produce huge results.
Hey I have just started a new Website. I will try to implement this strategies on it.
Brilliant reading. A real inspiration to all work-at-home-mums (like me!). I’ve had many years in online marketing and am now trying to make something of it while I bring up my children. It’s a lot harder than I imagined and I’m not convinced I taking the right approach. Heather and Justine obviously are so I’ve taken on board many of their points. Especially the one from Justine where she stipulates that we should ‘take f*cking action’!! Point taken! 🙂
haha thanks Loren. It’s sad but true that the majority of people trying to make it online aren’t doing anything to actual reach their goals. I’ve been there too but wasting time doing nothing is worse than just making mistakes and seeing how things go as you do them.
I like reading stories like these ,it really does give people a lot of inspiration to try harder.
It really does show that if you put your mind to it you can make money doing pretty much anything. 🙂
Great success story.. I will implement for my blog also. I m really inspired.
Thanks for this very inspirational post. As a work from women I find this highly motivational and this is will help me to stick to my task. 🙂
Very interesting. Thanks.
I knew there was lots of money in these affiliate programs but it’s always nice to hear personal accounts of how people made them work.
Great site I am so motivated after reading your posts, As I am just starting out to become a full time IM, no that I have read this article I believe that my dream has come one step closer to reality
Wow! Amazin Glen.
I just discover your blog today, just maybe 3 hours ago and I can’t stop reading it. Good that I am not busy at work today. LOL
Thank you.
Great post, really gets the brain working. I’ve never had much luck in building up an email list but I can see, from the screenshots you provided in the post, where I have been going wrong (i’ve always had the sign up form tucked away in a sidebar).
These moms did something unique of its kind so got popular with marketing
Yeah I definitely agree. Important aspect of their achievement was the unique idea.
Wow these two moms are an example to follow for other work at home moms
Thank you Glen, and both Heather and Justine for your opening of your stories share.
I come from China, where few people,as well as me, would like to focus on only one industry and keeps doing the same things online at home. Currently I’m working on php CMS drupal to build websites, planning to teach people drupal in the future. But when I saw your stories, I’m confused about my next step: Is program skills necessary in affiliate market, should I quit now and concentrate on some other niche, like forex affiliate program, introducing foreign forex companies to Chinese people, even telling foreign people how to date Chinese girls?
………………any ideas?
Great stories Heather and Justine. Most of all thank you Glen for posting about them on your website. I am rather new to Affiliate Marketing and have just started my first blog about four months ago. It is a ton of work and I enjoy it very much but have not had the success as these two hard working ladies have but am even more motivated to stick it out since reading their inspiring stories. Keep up the good work! I plan on checking out both of your sites and joining your mailing list.
Awesome case study … Thanks for the share Glen !! Truly inspiring ….
Thanks for this fascinating blog -I had forgotten about the power of email addresses in the middle of everything else to do
This is a definetly a nice article. Build a subscribr list is a key of success.
This has been very useful to me including the replies. I have started to redesign my website/blog. I am hiring someone to help me after attempts at it myself of learning on the job. Although my field is complety different so much is applicae here. Thank you for the candid answers and interviews. Glen., I would love to reads more case studies in other fields.
Hi Glen, I really enjoyed reading this post. I really like reading some concrete numbers, since most companies or blogger won’t tell you. I like that you give away more money-details compared to others (especially since your “Project Warehouse”), but this case study was in depth and to the point. I would love reading more of those, since it’s like a dream: I don’t have to search for people who publish their income, because you aggregate those stories in your case-studies! Keep going!
Hi Glen,
I started reading your blog some weeks back and I must say that this post is my best and I suggest that you do this more often.
In fact, I am a freelancer but I do not have a website but after reading this, I just know I must get one now.
Thumbs Up Man!
Woah! Very awesome and motivational. Moms have to be the busiest people ever, and the fact that they are taking this much action is so impressive and exciting!
I found this immensely valuable. The more data, the better.
I enjoyed this but felt overwhelmed by all the information! I’m going to have to come back again and read it slowly (something I find easier to do in print, but always seem to skim read on the web.) Thanks for the impressive info.
This was really useful and entertaining. You don’t usually get a peak behind the curtains like with this article. Usually it’s more of a tease. Thanks for writing this kind of content. It’s really helpful.
Thanks, Glen, for the case study. It is both very informative and instructional. Thanks to Heather and Justine for sharing their experiences and inspiration. More of these would be greatly helpful and inspiring. Thanks for everyone’s shared experiences.
Well, after following problogger and more recently viperchill I have now finally written my first ebook!
I am on the Wednesday of my 5 day plan and the signs look good. Lots of emails, great conversions from newsletter and social media to this recent post http://www.fishing-blog.co.uk/sea-fishing-news/the-bass-fishing-guide-the-first-fishing-blog-ebook/ just hope I sell a few on Friday and the 72 hour discount window I have offered.
Thank you Glenn and others for the propulsion I needed!!!
nice post, really inspiring, i’ll definately implement in my blog
Reading this article has come to me at the right time .. I have made a huge gamble by pursuing and trying to focus on an internet project that I’m very passionate about by taking a year out of university whilst going against the grain of everything I have come to learn and the disapproval of my parents! Knowing about case studies such as these is comforting proof for myself that what I’m doing can work..Like Justine said in lighter terms ‘ you have to take damn action!’ I needed that boost! Thankyou Ladies!
Hey Glen,
I must admit that your blog is the first one I ever subscribed on purpose.Don’t get me wrong, from time to time I subscribe here and there in order to see what I will receive but most of the time that’s just a junk. (Emails coming on everyday, boring to read, full of affiliate links etc, you know the drill.)
However, I really enjoy reading your emails and I can’t tell you how much I love your “3 day principle” of emailing because sometimes I don’t have time to read it the day I get it, but when I do I still have a time to process the information before I get a new email.
That’s the beauty of it.
P.S. I know how much you love to hear a feedback so here I am, leaving you one. Don’t worry, I believe there are lots of people like me who read your blog every time you post something new but doesn’t leave a feedback that often. 🙂
P.S.S. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all the best for the New Year Eve.
Glen,
Thanks for sharing this article. My wife and I have been talking about my plan of promoting my distance running site and some of these ideas really struck a cord, pretty inspiring to say the least.
Nate
Hi Glen,
Great article, as always. The bit that I wanted to pick up on was:
“The benefit of them using this strategy over any other is that new subscribers can see all of the valuable content they have to give away (unlike with blogging). You can even automate this method and send subscribers months of emails, on autopilot.”
For someone who isn’t an expert at coding what would you recommend for implementing a similar model on their website?
Heather, Justine, Glen, thanks for the share of content! I’m in the process of creating a real blog, to do many of these things once I specialize it and plan it. Case studies like these help re-affirm my belief that I can do this too, and help focus/clarify how to go about a blog/online business. 🙂
Thanks Glen fo sharing this article with US.. this type of articles inspire me . These two womens are maki ng really good amount ! hope i can make half of it some day 😉
Wow, these two women are amazing and inspiring. There is so much in this post that we can use. Thank you so much for sharing this Glen. Thank you Heather and Justine for sharing your story!
Awesome stuff as always, thanks three of you for sharing, definitely adding the two moms’ sites to my cool list
How would CloudBlueprint work for a website that talks about a certain product? (ex: paintball guns)
I just can’t find an angle….
Cool post and really interesting how little selling Heather and Justine do through email compared to the majority and — I’m guessing — have a raving fans because of it.
Thanks very much for the case-studies, wicked stuff.
Alan
Love the case studies! Keep up the great work:)
Thanks
Hey Glen,
Would love to see an optinskin developed that is more of a “top feature” like they have! I have one that I coded from html on my site but the html is stripped when I use it with optinskin, so I just leave it up but I want to split test, etc. I’ve found the top feature is a HUGE converter.
And… just so you know, a couple weeks ago I started working on a cloud email-blogging type project. We currently have one where we send out broadcast newsletter messages but I’m starting a related project on the same site that is more of an autoresponder series. I’ll keep you updated on how it goes 🙂
i love such posts, they are amazing because they give me new business ideas
it would be great if you published more of these posts in a series form
many thanks
I really liked this post Glen. It would be interesting to see their traffic stats over time and their revenue growth over time. I believe that starting out is the hardest part, if people are able to see the start of another business it gives them something to compare their own results too.
Thanks a lot Glen for your honest and valuable info. I learned a lot here
Interesting post and very inspiring too. I am only at the start of this whole internet business so having the opportunity to read about how other people have made it comes in very handy indeed. Thanks.
Fantastic information which has really fired me up to make my site a profitable as well as an enjoyable one. Thank you!
Hello, how many visitors you want on you blog to have this type of income? (5.000$) Please?
Hi G
I followed you here after your podcast with Pat Flynn. I’ve been digesting some of your blog and also the work of Dane Maxwell although software is not something I am remotely interested in. Definately a good spin on the 7 day autoresponder that most affiliates or marketers pump out then go right for a sale. I’m still getting emails today from autoresponders I signed up for 2 years ago, 7 day’s of good advice followed by 2 years of sales pitch!!!
I am now putting together a plan to implement this on two niches, excluding my blog which i really just use as a diary to be fair. Just a couple of detail questions. I know you guys are NOT using autoresponders like G mentioned in his CloudBlueprint, but are there any limitations in doing so as I would love my audience to get EVERY email like Glen suggests. I guess time sensitive products are a no no, and there’s always an issue of affiliate links breaking for products you initiated 3 or 4 years ago but are now dead products?
Am I on the right track here?
Also would it be possible to video email blog? The audience engagment is always higher when they can “see” your genuine so could you somehow setup an autorespond email, with video but still have an affiliate link? Or maybe send a few “value” videos then an email with an affiliate link and hope people remember your face from the previous few videos?
Any suggestions guys and gals?
Thanks again
James
I see a common them of successful online blogs or businesses. I was following about twenty online business blogs but I only follow three now – religiously. The reason is VALUE. When a business person, website or blogger provides true value they gain my trust. If they are trying to sell me everything they affiliate with or their own products all the time I go sour – I think that’s why one of the women above fell victim to many unsubscribes at one point.
I have plenty of money to spend buy want to reward those who have rewarded me first. The business model, tips and knowledge will register over time but the Value and Trust must come first. That’s why I love ViperChill and the Value and Trust Glenn builds with his following.
For the women above – they have built trust and delivered value more than anything – the intelligent model was their catalyst for success. Nice post Glenn.
Charlie
I especially like seeing how other people approach email blogging; It’s incredibly helpful for someone like me who is currently editing content to prepare for their site’s launch. I’d love to see more case studies in the future 🙂
(If/when this site takes off, I’ll probably owe you a beer, Glen :P)
Great one Glen once again, i can never get enough of you, you are always inspiring. Your email is always the first i attend to whenever i check my inbox
You are so relevant to my online biz journey and process
Thank you for this case study! One thing i know is im really bad at sending out emails to my subscribers list. I have had one for atleast 4 years and have only sent out 3 emails. I know they have always said the money is in the list but to me i have to email when its something important. I never wanted to be one of those emails everyone type of person for any reason.
Thank you for the great post!
Mel
When I read posts like this I often get inspired and forget about how much work actually goes into building and creating a web site. It’s always nice to see other people’s methods and ideas. Thanks for sharing.
You’re very welcome!
Wow. 5k plus online by two Moms? Unbelievable. Lots of things to learn from them. I will make the most from this post. Thanks fore the share.
I loved the case studies – very inspiring and useful. Thank you 🙂
Very useful information. I do believe on how blogging/posting several times per day can kick your website rank to high search position.
Very good idea for Christmas Eve, I’ll try to do this at home, my kids will be very happy.
Hi Glen,
Interesting… Firstly thanks for sharing this informative as well as motivational article for us. You know this motivated me alot. I am seriously thinking to increasing my working hours.
Thanks for such great case study. Hope god bless you for better earnings in coming days.
Good Luck
Thanks Viperchill for sharing this useful casestudy.
Really it’s very informative.
Thankyou
